1) Controller and contact

Thank you for visiting. Below we explain how we process personal data when you use the website of the “VEMOCA” brand at vemoca.de and vemoca.at. Personal data is any data by which you can be personally identified.

The controller within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is:

“VEMOCA” is a brand of the company named above. Under the brands “moby van” and “transporterglas24” we also operate the online shops www.mobyvan.de and www.transporterglas24.de, each of which has its own privacy policy.

2) Hosting on our own servers and server log files

This website runs on servers we operate ourselves. No external hosting or content delivery provider is used.

When you access our pages, our server processes the data transmitted by your browser (server log files): page and file accessed, date and time of access, HTTP status code, amount of data transferred, referrer URL, browser and operating system used, and IP address. Processing is based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, on the basis of our legitimate interest in stability, security and prevention of abuse. Log files are deleted within 14 days unless they are needed to investigate a specific security incident.

Transmission is encrypted (TLS). You can recognise an encrypted connection by “https://” in the address bar.

3) Cookies, consent and Google Analytics

Without your consent this website does not set cookies and does not embed third-party content or services. Fonts, images and scripts are loaded from our own servers.

Consent request. On your first visit we ask via our own banner (not provided by a third party) whether you allow Google Analytics. “Decline” and “Accept” are given equal prominence. We store your decision, the version of the request and the time in your browser’s local storage (localStorage) so that the request does not appear on every page view. The entry does not leave your device (Section 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG). You can change or withdraw your decision at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer.

Google Analytics (only with consent). If you consent, we use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, D04 E5W5, Ireland. Without consent this website does not load Google Analytics. Google Analytics sets cookies (_ga and _ga_ with an identifier of our website, storage period up to two years) and records pseudonymously how our site is used: pages viewed, time spent, scroll depth, clicks on links to other websites (e.g. to our online shops), the source of the visit (e.g. search engine or referral), approximate location (country, region, city) and device, browser and operating system. Google uses your IP address only to derive the approximate location and does not store it. We evaluate the data to improve the content and usability of the site. Google signals, linking to advertising accounts and personalised advertising are not enabled. We retain the data for 14 months. Google processes the data on our behalf on the basis of the Google Ads Data Processing Terms (Art. 28 GDPR). In addition, Google receives the data to improve its own products and services and for technical support; Google is itself responsible for this use (policies.google.com/privacy). A transfer to Google LLC in the USA is possible; Google has joined the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, Section 25 (1) TDDDG). Once you withdraw consent, Google Analytics stops recording immediately and we delete the Analytics cookies in your browser. Further information: support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245.

4) Contacting us

If you contact us by e-mail or phone, we process the data you provide (e.g. name, contact details, content of the enquiry) in order to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where the enquiry is aimed at concluding a contract, otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR on the basis of our legitimate interest in answering your enquiry. The data is deleted once the enquiry has been fully dealt with and no statutory retention obligations apply.

5) Links to our online shops

This website links to the online shops www.mobyvan.de and www.transporterglas24.de. When you visit these shops, the privacy policies published there apply. When you click a link, no data is transmitted from this website to the shop, except for the referrer information sent by your browser by default.

6) Your rights

With regard to the personal data concerning you, you have the following rights against us: right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), data portability (Art. 20 GDPR) and objection to processing (Art. 21 GDPR). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the Independent Centre for Data Protection Schleswig-Holstein (ULD).

7) Right to object

Where we process data on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, you may object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation. We will then no longer process the data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests.
